Rentcharge Notice

The CIC is concerned to hear that there had been some errors in recent rentcharge payment reminders sent to homeowners.

After discussion with Cripps LLP, who manage the rentcharge collection activities on behalf of the CIC, Cripps has asked that the following apology to homeowners be published: We were very sorry to learn that a number of people have mistakenly received reminder letters to pay the estate rent charge when they may have already paid the charge earlier in the year.

"We sincerely apologise for any concern and inconvenience this may have caused. We are investigating how this error has occurred and are seeking to resolve it as quickly as possible. Please rest assured that, if you have received a letter and you have already paid, we will update your account and issue a letter confirming that the account has been settled within the next 5 working days. If you have any concerns in the meantime, please contact sovereignharbourtrust@cripps.co.uk clearly stating your plot number and full address and we will respond to you with the next 5 working days. Again, we are sorry for the concern that this may have caused and we are taking immediate steps to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.."
